Returns
Returns & Cancellations
All products sold by Backyard Sideshow are made to order and printed specifically for each customer. As all items are made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind.
Because our products are custom-made goods, they are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and applicable EU consumer law.
We therefore do not accept returns or cancellations unless the item is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at:

- Clear photos of the issue
If approved, we will review the issue and, where appropriate, provide a refund or send a replacement item at our discretion.
Damages & Product Notes
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Product notes:
Some garments may have a temporary vinegary smell upon arrival. This is normal and results from the printing process. The odour will dissipate after airing out or washing.
You may also notice slight discoloration or off-white residue. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash. Our apparel is produced using water-based, eco-friendly inks and modern garment printing technology.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
If your item is defective or incorrect, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Refunds
Refunds are only issued for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
