WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Founded in 2023 in the U.K, Backyard Sideshow is a small independent creative venture run by Caz and influenced by Maz.

The essence of this enterprise can be traced back to an upbringing through the anti establishment influence of the U.K Punk Rock scene of the 1970's and 80's.

Every design starts with pencil, paper and imagination, before being dragged (sometimes kicking and screaming) into the digital world of graphic design.

Here at Backyard Sideshow we are not a corporate machine and we do not follow trends. All our designs are from the heart and believed in.

Backyard Sideshow creates bold, eco conscious merchandise for independent thinkers and the wildly imaginative social misfits of the modern era.

Our work blends dark humour, strong opinion and more than a touch of creative thought. If you 'think outside the box' and enjoy alternative perspectives, unique designs and wearing contemporary clothing that questions the norm - you are in the right place.

HOW ITS MADE

We partner with a global print on demand (POD) fulfilment provider with distribution centres around the world.

All our products are eco-friendly and made using:

-100% organic cotton.

-80% organic/ 20% recycled blend.

-Ring spun cotton for durability and comfort.

As this adds cost to our base product we believe the high quality, peace of mind and original designs make it more than worth it.

This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a little longer to deliver it to you.

Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction and leaves a lighter footprint on the planet.

Our foremost objective is to be 100% original and homegrown.

Any similarity between Backyard Sideshow designs and another designers work is purely coincidental and unintentional.

Our designs are not for everyone, they are for people who are open minded, welcome diversity and like humour that bites. We encourage free range imagination and in no way intend to offend .

(To our knowledge) No dates or situations have been changed to protect those involved, no events have been exaggerated or dramatized for effect, and no humans, animals or aliens were harmed in the making of this enterprise.
